Before Christ was a time before victorious spirit filled living, but it was much different after Christ! Jesus came that we might have ‘life and life more abundantly’. How many of us are walking today as tho if we have no life? Yeah we may proclaim it, but do people see it? Do the lost see it? We can be like the children who forget that our Father is the King! We forget what that means, and walk around just as solum as the world. I think a lot of that is because so many followers of Jesus get in this mindset of ‘oh we are crucified with Christ, death death death to me.. etc’. But what about the life. Just as the Israelites in the dessert forgot that they had been DELIVERED from the death pit of Egypt, so we forget the life we have access to. A lot of it comes down to mind set. We need to remind ourselves, speak life into your situation whatever it may be - and start walking victorious. What does this mean? I’d say one of the first steps is having joy. Thanks and Praise! For we once walked in darkness but now we are in the light! Victorious light!
Victory says, “Mountain, I see you in front of me, but I’m gonna praise God anyway because He’s already won the victory.”
Victory says, “Desert, I’ve been out here for a while but I’m going to shout His praise because He’s already paid for the water that I am craving.”
Victory says, “Jesus, my heart doesn’t understand these obstacles I’m facing, and I don’t see hope, but I’m gonna praise you for the victory and hope anyways because you’re already won the victory!!!”
Now we go from a mind set of solum Christian without a hope for the world to see, to, but God so loved the world that he gave His only Son that we should not perish but have everlasting LIFE!! And life more abundantly. When we walk in victory, we send a signal beam to the world that there is hope, and cannot help but let our light shine. Take courage, take confidence, and walk in victory today.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me … to the end of the earth."
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. for you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry."
