Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.”
This verse requires the reader to exercise faith for the words to reveal truth rather than myth. Can the death of one person cleanse the sins of man kind? And, if that man died, how does He later show up to bring salvation to the waiting?
Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.”
The theme through out the Scripture is that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice, the door to God, the Bread of Life and The Son of God. Jesus was born to a virgin, Mary, and fathered by God rather than an earthly father.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, “God with us.”
Matthew 1:21 “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
